Built in the early 1900’s as a home and studio by sculptor Carl Milles, Millesgarden is a work of art itself featuring terraces, fountains, stairways, sculptures, columns and magnificent views. It’s early spring, so only a few splashes of purple and white from a few crocuses here and there…and no water in the fountains…but a brilliant blue sky showcasing Milles’ artwork here on the island of Lidingö, in the north of Stockholm.
We have no forks or sheets, but Carl always has enough to buy columns. — Olga Milles
