What better way to spend a Sunday than with 2 million people to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the NYC marathon! I’ve read various numbers, but it looks like there were over 40,000 runners. The energy in the air was just amazing! It was very surreal to be on Central Park West early in the morning with the street blocked from traffic.
But within no time Central Park South became a huge festival as runners began to make their way to the finish line.
And a shot of father/daughter waiting, I’m sure, for mom to finish!
