John Lennon

Today was a day to be out and about in the sunny, crisp, fall-like weather after a few days of clouds and rain. I wandered around in Central Park and was drawn to the Bethesda Terrace Arcade where I was captivated by a melody that sounded way too familiar. Yep, it was a John Lennon tune.

I made my way through the Bethesda Terrace and down the steps to the ornate interior of the arcade’s magnificent tiled ceiling and decorative carvings.

I’m sure in light of John Lennon’s birthday this Saturday, there will be more and more of these kind of tributes throughout the week.

This couple was adorable and I could have spent hours hanging and listening to them.

Rest in peace John Lennon. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
