Laugh out loud kinda funny. That’s my review of this play that I saw in the intimate little Westside Theatre last night. Ok, first the theatre. It was constructed in 1889 as a German Baptist church and then a theatre since the early 1980’s. It reopened in 1991 after an extensive renovation. Adorable. It always blows me away when I research and find out that these buildings have so much history. That’s the beauty of living in this city. My friend Abby and I had front row center seats. The best in the house. (We’ve only had our tickets for about 3 months so that’s what you get when you plan EARLY!)
The play uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny stories that all of us girls can relate to. (We all can remember exactly what we were wearing on that first date!) To top it off, a portion of the production’s proceeds benefit the Dress for Success charity to provides clothes to low-income women. How cool is that!
If you’re looking for a fun girls night out, check it out. You won’t be disappointed!

You are making short work of this city. I swear you have done more here in less than a year than I have in the 20 I’ve been. good for you!! Glad you made it back ok.

Sounds good… Heather gave me a book titled “We Need to Talk, But First What Do You Think of My Shoes!” Very funny… sounds like it is along the same vein. 🙂
