My previous post focused on the princess of Inle Lake in Myanmar and I left you with walking out that screen door of chalet 312 of the Inle Princess Resort. So let’s just see…
mornings brought fog…
the middle of the day brought haze over the nearby mountains…
and evening brought the farmers checking out their sugar cane fields…
But late afternoon…
…remember the warm air and gentle breezes and that bottle of chardonnay?
Relaxing and looking out at the farm land and small waterway by the chalet, I sensed a movement. Sitting still, waiting…and sure enough…there he was. Within seconds he removed his tshirt and then his pants and ever so slowly, like a snake, his body slowly submerged into the waterway.
looking and hunting…
muscles glistening…
adjusting with slow deliberate movements…
ever so gently…
And within seconds…
he left as quietly as he arrived…

I bet he had no clue you were watching and waiting with him! Or if he did, he showed you exactly how it’s done, with great pride and finesse. I know you tasted heaven in those moments, dear Robin.

That porch with early morning fog looks perfect.
Great shots of the hunter, I couldn’t tell what he caught … was it fish?
All so beautiful!
