As mentioned in my previous post, still keeping with the theme…just more color added!
Would love to know if you have any favorites here as well! (Thank you!)

I never do well picking favorites, Robin, because I can almost always find something I really like about each and every one! But the shadow of the policeman reminds me of a Banksy graffiti painting. I love it!

That’s immediately what came to my mind too when I saw the shadow of the police officer! Too fun!
Lisa says
It’s so difficult to pick a favorite, I love each one for different reasons.
The 1st one, once again I don’t know what those two objects are and the shadows are so intriguing. I love the warm colors in the 2nd one. The blossoms against the blue and the circular background and lighting are fabulous in #3.
The lines, textures and shadows in #4. Love #5, the policeman – that is painted on the wall, isn’t it? #6, hmmm, this may be my favorite after all since I keep going back to it and finding more things in it. The tall green tree, naturally grown like that or trimmed, (This is all guessing now), against this man-made painted wall and building with odd man-made shaped designs, and what looks like a door in the wall, with some corrugated on the top of the wall. Every time I looked closer, I saw something else. Pretty cool, I’d say. #7, the shapes, textures, shadows, natural looking materials, then THE PINK. Where did it come from and why? #8, The color, shadows, textures and shapes, then THE HOOK.
I’m just asking the questions out loud, don’t expect you to answer. Just so interesting!
No one, and I do mean no one captures what you do!
xoxo

You comments are always so fun for me! Thank you! The policeman is actually a shadow. He was directing traffic at night time and like Ginnie commented, it reminded me of a Banksy painting too!

Hey Robin, I love your photos. San Miguel has wonderful opportunities to take great photos, and these close-up of details are very interesting. Hope you can visit again.

Hi David! Thanks for stopping by! You bet, I will most definitely visit again!

Knowing all art is subjective, the last photo with it’s strong color, texture of the surface and softness of the shadowed scroll…does it for me.
Well done
gotham girl says
Thank you! I really loved that one too!

The first , the third and number five! But the colours are beautiful and warm and vibrant on all of them.Love how you discover the perfect angle in every day subjects…crumbling colours, shadows, sun and light.
Perfect!

Thanks Karen! It was fun giving myself this assignment!

I like the police-officer and the car… and the last one, the yellow with all the long shadows. However the other pictures are as beautiful. The shapes the colours, what an amazing place.
gotham girl says
It really is an amazing place Astrid. Thanks for your feedback too!
