Honestly, in all my travels, I’ve never witnessed such natural beauty as the sun setting on the Ayeyarwady River while relaxing riverside before a scrumptious dinner at the Sunset Garden restaurant in Bagan, Myanmar. The stunning views of the Bupaya Pagoda on the right bank of the river? OMG. Breathtaking.
A huge thanks to our guide who recommended it. Timing was perfect, as several websites indicated this restaurant was very touristy and often crowded. Not at all during the middle of December. The food? Absolutely delicious…that meal will be in the memory books for a long time.
