Whew! I think back at the last couple of months and it all seems such a blur! Oregon…Vermont…the farm in Virginia. And now I’m back in my city and it’s already November! So hard to believe this year is coming to an end!
Because Vermont is still so vivid in my mind…thought I’d share my top faves from the visit…no words needed…just take a moment to take a deep soak in the yellows…reds…and oranges…the amazing scenery…all compliments of mother earth.
Happy Halloween! gg
WOW! What a Halloween treat for the eyes… Spectacular photos GG. Thank you for sharing, and Happy Halloween to you too. XoXo
Thank you!! XOXO
I wish I had words that are worthy of this beauty … all I can think of is thank you.
You are very welcome! Mother Earth…she’s amazing!!
Wow! I love each one for it’s own unique beauty (except for the laundry, I’m sorry).
I’m impressed with all of the animals you’ve seen and photographed, too.
Thank you so much for sharing all the blissful beauty of autumn in Vermont that you enjoyed.
So happy to have you back and posting.
Love you and Happy Halloween – BOO!
Yes, so much to catch up on and share! Thank you! Boo back at ya! xo
A lifetime ago when I lived in northern NJ, we took a drive to Canada in early October through Vermont and back through New Hampshire. Your great photos brought back wonderful memories of that trip; some of your photos are similar to some I took myself at least in colors. Now I look forward to more photos of NYC, also my favorite city.
In all my years of living in Virginia…I’ve never experienced anything like Vermont! I do remember a number of years ago being in Canada and it was amazing too! Thanks so much for your visit!
I repeat myself…but THIS THIS THIS is why autumn is my favorite time of the year. You’ve totally nailed it, Robin!
Thank you Ginnie! Can’t wait to see your images from the cabin in GA!
The colors are delicious and I love the photo with the sheep!
Thanks! That sheep photo cracked me up! Looked like two bodies for one head to me when I saw it!
Robin, you manage to take the cliché of autumn photography and make it new. Not easy to do at all. I am so impressed with these, every composition is breathtaking. And I LOVE the laundry line. The homey, real humanness! xoxo
Oh, thanks Ruth! So appreciated!!! I love the laundry line too. It was a very difficult shot due to the home’s location…and the home that went with it was on the verge of falling down. But, they had clean laundry! xoxo
Robin –
These pictures were simply stunning! Thank you for sharing the fall foliage with all of us. Never stop taking these wonderful pictures. You make us very happy!
Happy Halloween & Happy November cause it is your special month!
Hugs!
Thank you so so much D!!! xoxo
Such glorious colours and a wonderful mood. How wonderful it must be to sit on one of those chairs in the middle of the field.
OH…can you imagine? Big fire going…evening light…a nice red…ahhhhh…..
What an amazing colours and pictures. I had to smile at the laundry…. the best way to dry and you get that wonderful smell in the clothes.
We came back to these amazing colours too. We had not have those for YEARS, the combination of dry wind from the East, high temperatures during the day and cold at night makes the leaves change into a painting….
Fabulous pictures. The tress around the cabin were not that far gone yet, but still we saw them changing colour over the weekend.
Love and hugs.
Thanks Astrid! Whenever I see a clothesline I think back to my childhood. I loved playing within the blowing sheets and that fresh smell…nothing like it! Glad you enjoyed your time across the big pond and that you are safe back home! xo
So glad you were able to enjoy Vermont and the autumn colors. Thank you for sharing. Of course you know the clothesline would be my favoriate
Somehow I knew that Bill! 🙂 Thank you!!!
O wow! Those colours!
Totally OD on color during that trip! Thanks!
Stunning, the last frame is just lush
