If you happen to be on Fifth Avenue…
Make sure you check out the windows at Tiffany & Co.
Inspired by The Great Gatsby…
allow me to introduce to you a couple of gems…
from the Tiffany Jazz Age Collections.

“The jewelry is based on designs from the Tiffany Archives
and worn by the film’s cast to symbolize the story’s themes of wealth and privilege,
and we approached its design with the utmost style and luxury in mind.”

Beautiful images, Robin! Yes, I have seen the film and have many thoughts about it. The book is one of my all time favorite reads, not to mention Fitzgerald’s backstory, which really tugs at my heart. There were certainly things about the movie I liked, but also things that didn’t work for me. I ran out of time last week or I would have done a little review on the blog. Maybe next week 🙂 Did you see it? If so, what did you think?

Thanks for the beautiful pictures – some of us aren’t that lucky to live near the 5th Ave!

Aaaah…there’s nothing like the elegance and beauty of the Tiffany windows. I – too – have stopped on more than one occasion to photograph them.

The movie hasn’t reached us yet here in the Netherlands, Robin. We’ll probably watch it on DVD instead of in the theater. In the meantime, it’s hard to relate to that kind of glitter, if that makes sense?
