Here’s what happens on a little evening walk in my hood…
Oh yes…this got my attention straight away…
It all started as I rounded the corner to the Lincoln Center. Seems the opening of the New York City Ballet fall gala was a star studded event and a Valentino paradise!
We have Babs and her entourage attending…
Along with Martha…
I wasn’t impressed with her outfit…
But along comes Daphne Guinness….
Seems she’s quite the fashion icon (Lady Gaga’s mentor) and heir by direct descent of yes…you guessed it…Arthur Guinness…the founder of the Guinness brewery business…she was fascinating…
But it was Anne Hathaway who stole the show…wearing this incredible Valentino dress…
The back of this dress was amazing and she was so gracious with the paparazzi…
A beautiful evening and a fabulous Valentino event…I wanna press pass!!!
The End.

Wow. Yes, the last picture is pure magic. And I rembered while I fell immediately in love with NYC: I always felt that any moment the music could start to play and everybody on the street would sing and dance, like in the movies. You brought all this back to me with your pictures. Thanks! And you’re doing pretty well without a press pass …

The last shot is head and shoulders the best, it hints at so many narratives, and the colour…superb.

Yap, wrinkle dress Martha Stewart, not good. Well is there something wrong with Daphne Guinness neck! Anne hathaway love her, her dress elegant yet simple.
Get yourself a “press pass” you can do it online, easy. Great pictures.

That was my first thought about Daphne too! But it seemed like some huge necklace that didn’t allow her to move her head! I guess that’s why she’s Lady Gaga’s mentor, LOL! Thanks you for commenting!

Yes ~ that last shot is stunning, so evokative. Do you know who’s lovely legs those are? What a fun thing to walk upon! I may be coming your way Oct 12-14 and would love to wander with cameras with you if you’re in town. I’ll email you if my trip gets booked, fingers crossed 🙂

Thank you!!! No clue who owned those legs…but they were not allowed thru the celebrity line so they must have been just the ordinary joe…but with incredible legs!
YIPPEE!!! I’m keeping fingers and toes crossed that you can come! I’ll be returning from a trip to Europe a couple of days prior to your arrival and so it’s perfect! Keep me posted!!!
