…shop, eat, commute, visit, drink, play, socialize…
What a great mantra!
Just passing through…on the way to Wave Hill.
Where amazing things grow…
P.S. The Bronx is one of the five boroughs of New York City and north of Manhattan. Home of the Yankee Stadium, the largest metropolitan zoo in the United States and it’s own Little Italy on Arthur Avenue. For sure, I’ll be back…I think I hear a cannoli calling my name!
Love all the colors. Great photos. Those are some amazing things growing frissy. Thanks for sharing. XoXo
Thanks my dear! Love you and see you soon!!!!
You live in one of the most special places in the world. Isn’t it beautiful what you have at your fingertips. You are part of it, you see the beauty in it all.
Absolute fabulous shots
I am so so fortunate to live here! Thanks Astrid!!
Love the perspective of all of them …but especially the very first shot. The woman counting out her money….thinking what to prepare for dinner.
Never been to the Bronx….can’t wait to see more of it!
Thanks Karen. There’s so much to explore here…and there’s so much in the Bronx it would take more than my lifetime to experience it all! Can’t wait for your next visit – next time we need MORE TIME! xo
Love the overhead shot of the veggie market – great colors!
Ah, the diversity of the city; The shopping, the grafiffi, the wealthy to the poverty stricken, the bridges, the culture, the beautiful gardens, museums, zoo, concrete playgrounds to Central Park. Our NY has it all! Oh, you make miss it so!
Now I want a cannoli, too.
XOXO
Thank you! One cannoli coming up! Ha! Always love your visit here…perhaps in person one day soon!!!
You are such an incredible Ambassador of where you live, dear Robin. You should get paid for it! Well, I guess you ARE! 🙂
LOL! I get paid every single day! Living here is a DREAM…. Thanks always for your visits and comments!
What a lovely vibrant post. I love all the colours and the mixture of peace and bustle you convey. I have been to New York, but only once, and it was a visit I really enjoyed. I did not ‘do’ the tourist route but I did have a great time, and a great steak my taste-buds remember. Let’s hope I get to go there again.
Some of the best times in NYC is NOT doing the touristy things…so glad you enjoyed. Hey, I’m waiting for an invitation to your first book signing here in NYC!! You will, just believe!! 🙂 Thanks Ducky.
Look at all the colours! The vegetables are beautiful. I love the photo of the store wall. Glad you’re back in NYC.
Thanks Cheryl…so good to be back!! Your visits mean a lot to me!
Your pics always make me fall in love with NYC all over again
Oh I love it when that happens!! Thank you!! You must visit soon. Aren’t you overdue?
Love it! Especially the last two pictures – pure zen.
Love the changing point of view in this set. Wonderful.
