Filled with homeless people, trash, and the smell of urine…my first thought was…who would ever want to live around here? Well twenty years or so later and the Lincoln Center is in my backyard. Thank goodness the big makeover began around 2006 and finished in all its glory around 2012. And WOW, what a showpiece!
And you know what’s fun about having the Lincoln Center in my backyard?
offering choreographed, five minute-long water shows daily…
Lots of opportunities to play!
But I’m sure someone was really upset to lose their binky!
Symphonies and films and plays and operas and ballets…something for everyone at Lincoln Center.
And fabulous people watching!

You are something else, Robin!!! I LOVE these images…all of them. You always know how to put you own stamp on anything, which in and of itself makes it special. And I mean that sincerely!

You know, we could have visited when my son was at Juilliard! The “new” renovations of the area are gorgeous. You’ve captured it all beautifully (no surprise:)

Watching water – rushing , flowing, raining, spraying etc – is one of my favorite things to do. I so very much miss the ocean since living in Switzerland.
A lovely series of wonderful images …
