Ditmas Park is a small community in Brooklyn filled with grand Victorian homes, huge trees, and big yards. Astor Row is in Harlem, a street with 28 almost identical houses that stand along the south side of West 130th Street between Fifth Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard.
Spring time is the perfect time to visit both.
Two of my favorite things are sitting on my front porch smoking a pipe of sweet hemp, and playing my Hohner harmonica.
