All I can say is…it takes all kinds to make up our world! Fun day with friends from Scottsdale at the flea market in Hell’s Kitchen, just a bit south of my hood.
Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market clientele include designers, tourists, artists, celebrities, and residents shopping for antiques, collectibles, vintage clothing, home decorations, furniture, jewelry, and more. The market is located near the Port Authority Bus Terminal and Times Square and is open every Saturday and Sunday.
In the Hell’s Kitchen area, you can still find small “mom and pop” businesses, including specialty food stores. I understand that today, a great number of actors reside in the neighborhood due to its proximity to the Broadway theaters and Actors Studio training school. I love this area, a little on the seedy side, but great restaurants and shops!
Oh, I’ve seen this guy several times on the UWS! His halter top and spandex shorts vary in color/pattern, but the high-tops and bangle bracelets are always the same. 🙂
