Attended the New York Photo Festival in DUMBO, a new residential district in Brooklyn which I think one day will far surpass Soho! (btw, DUMBO stands for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Underpass.) The festival started a few years ago and lasts for a period of four days. Unlike other festivals which focus more on established photographers or previously produced works, the New York Photo Festival is focused on providing a platform for discovering contemporary photography for previously unseen work. Great exhibits and fun to see what new artists are up to!
