What a fun ride! Beautiful day. I can’t wait to do this ride again when the leaves begin to change. The “Escape” ride took us into New Jersey and New York state. A rest stop in the small village of Piermont (NY) was just adorable. Unfortunately I failed to charge my camera battery before the ride, so guess what? No photos, but as mentioned before, I’ll do this again and it will be even more beautiful with the fall colors. Total of about 60 miles. The ride itself was 50 and then it was a good distance between the den and Sakura Park in the upper upper west side. Besides a dead camera battery, only one other mishap. I took a little spill coming off the George Washington Bridge as we made our way back into Manhattan. Just a few minor scrapes and bruises. I happen to run into a guy who was going way too fast and barreling around the corner on his big mountain bike. Nothing that a hot shower, neosporin and a few glasses of prosecco wouldn’t cure! Here’s a photo of the George Washington Bridge from underneath from a previous ride.

60 miles how proud I am of you, the not charging the battery ois something I would do,like going to the beach and leaving it in the car!!!
