Fashionista in the park

Check out this little fashionista! As I made my way through Central Park this afternoon I captured a shot of this cutie. I was headed to the East side to help feed the homeless. I started volunteering last week and tonight was my second time. Last Monday night we fed 278 people and my job was to dish out green beans. I hate the smell of green beans and I don’t even like green beans so I thought I really went above and beyond. Tonight we served around 250 and I got to mingle and pour coffee and hot water for tea. Now keep in mind I was really excited about that because I could’ve been assigned the green bean job again. Afterwards on both nights I dried silverware to help out the kitchen staff. It’s always a nice feeling to volunteer! Until next Monday night…
