If yellow is not a favorite color, then by all means never visit the Sonoran Desert in the springtime!
For miles and miles…nothing but yellow…
And when the sun begins to set…yellow gold everywhere. Truly the golden hour!
The palo verde tree (spanish for green stick) is the Arizona state tree and the one that produces all this color.
My absolute favorite time of the year to be in the desert!
Happy Mother’s Day!
Love, Love, Love the desert in springtime. You really made the beautiful yellow and gold colors POP right off the page. Thanks for sharing. XoXo
The desert is Yellow
The desert is Gold
I was mistaken, I have been told
It is not all beige, it is not all bland
It is not all cactus and not all sand
For there is beauty all around
if only I can see
Through the soul of My Dear Robin, through the lens she generously shares
The world through her eyes is a wonderful, beautiful world to be.
XOXO
love!!
What a Mother’s Day gift, dear Robin. I know you are in ecstasy sharing this with your own mother. What an extra special Mother’s Day for you!
Simply amazing like in a fairy tale….bathing in gold !
You do know you are one of my top favourite Blogger FB chums I hope. I just love people with lots of heart and sensibility and a great eye, and you score very highly in each department as this post shows |( again )
This is how everyone should be able to see the desert … some of the prettiest images I’ve ever seen, such a balm for my winter weary eyes!
