What's that sweet smell?

Remember making Clove Oranges? Remember that sweet aroma of cloves? Well on Tuesday mornings I meet my biking group for laps around the park and then a coffee before we start our day. Lap after lap I kept smelling this sweet smell of cloves in a particular section of the park. I had never smelled an aroma like that in the park before. Well after much research I learned that the park employees had applied a non-synthetic herbicide containing the active ingredient “clove oil” as an alternative to synthetic pesticides. It was applied on Monday and the aroma should dissipate within 24-48 hours. Now if only they could do that at some of the subway entries!
