I don’t recall if I mentioned in a previous post or not that I’ve started a photography course with NYIP, New York Institute of Photography. I’m so lovin it. My fourth lesson is all about shutter speed and panning.
So please keep in mind that I’m very much a beginner!
What started out to be a dreary, rainy day here in nyc turned out to be beautiful with the most incredible sunset over the Hudson River and New Jersey that I’ve seen in the four months I’ve been on riverside.
Keep in mind I don’t have fancy lenses and tripods, so what I’d hoped to be a really cool photo didn’t turn out to be. So instead, I practiced my panning on a still subject. Here are the ones I’m most pleased with. What do you think?
btw: I recently received notice that I won a photo contest with my manhattan pier fire photo! That was an easy 50 bucks!
