Coming from Arizona I never thought I would find pizza that compares to James Beard award-winner Chris Bianco’s pizza in downtown Phoenix. Now I have found a runner-up.
The mozzarella, tomato sauce, arugula, prosciutto crudo and shaved parmigiano pizza was just to die for. The crust had just the right amount of chew and char to it, the arugula I’m sure just purchased from a local market, and the prosciutto? Some of the best prosciutto I’ve ever had…
Add a glass Lambrusco Grasparossa, a bubbly berry red, and you will think you are in heaven, I swear.
