What’s the next best thing when you can’t be with friends and family because they live elsewhere? Happy Hour Skypes. Nothing like fixing a cocktail or pouring a glass of wine or opening a beer and dialing them up on skype. Which is what I did last night with a friend in Arizona. It’s just like meeting them at your favorite bar or having them over. (Well almost, very close.)
Other than telling you how much fun it is to have happy hour skypes, I just had to share the photo of my VTL. (vodka, tonic and lemon)
About a year ago I was fortunate to spend a week or so in Instanbul. You may have even remembered a blog post or two. Rooftop bars, vodka tonics, hmm…there’s a theme here. Anyway, knowing Turkey is 98% Muslim for some reason it just cracks me up to have cocktails served with naked women swizzle sticks! Those were keepers for sure. (I know, I’m easily entertained.)
