Gotham Den – part two

Since I’ve only scratched the surface of this fabulous city, I absolutely must have another year!

As many of you know, the den is located on a tree-lined street in a five story apartment building just steps from Central Park. It’s been an amazing year in this location with many wonderful hours sitting at its window taking in all the seasons and all walks of life, not to mention all the fun times with friends who have visited throughout the year. Playful sophistication at its finest!

So after a few days of searching for the location of the next gotham den, I lucked out with a fabulous studio apartment overlooking the Hudson River just steps from the bikeway of Riverside Park. The river has intrigued me from day one and I’ve gone there often to reflect and seek solitude. It doesn’t surprise me that the apartment search ended in the exact area I’ve been drawn to over the past 12 months.

So above my finger tip is the new gotham den. A touch smaller unit, but with all the amenities that one could ask for… not to mention a small patio! So no, I won’t be able to entertain the number of guests that I’ve had during my first year, but that’s always been the plan. My dream during this past year was to experience as much as I could possibly experience, but more importantly to share with my friends so they could come to appreciate and enjoy MY city as much as I do. Mission accomplished!

So here’s to year two of more living, growing, and exploring! The song, Empire State of Mind, couldn’t have said it better:
