Thanks to so many of you that have mentioned during the past few days that you are no longer receiving my blog updates via your email! I had no idea! Nor do I know how to fix it! Dang! However, the first step is to export all the email addresses and figure out how to delete “FeedBurner” (the source of the problem) and find something else that is more reliable. And yes, I realize if people aren’t receiving my emails they won’t be reading this posting…but I know that many of you are very clever and have found alternatives…and of course many of you follow along via Facebook and RSS feeds which doesn’t impact you at all. In my next posting, I’ll share what I’m doing with this technology burp…a resolution…hopefully!
I do want you to know how much I appreciate all of your visits and comments! Even though this blog has been and always will be my own personal diary of my life’s journey…I do really enjoy sharing my finds with others, but most of all making some wonderful friendships along the way!
So in the interest of starting a nice weekend…thought I’d share a couple of adorable little Peruvian boys where every day is a weekend for them! Enjoy!
…boys will be boys!
On a side note…
I’ve always wanted to take a floral design class, so when the New York Botanical Garden advertised a class that would show you how to arrange a store bought bouquet…well I jumped at the chance. I learned so much and never again will I come home and just toss my flowers in a vase!
There’s so much going on in my city right now…and I have so much to share!

Oh, I wasn’t the only one not receiving my dose of GGC happiness. Hope it gets corrected. In the meantime, I come directly on the site.
Such adorable little guys – Looks like brotherly love!
I always wanted to know how to arrange bouquets, too. Just struggled with a bouquet we gave Jess for graduation. Vase tipping over, one side of beautiful flowers, back side nothing. I am a mess! Nice to take a class and learn the little basics in life.
Love you!
xoxo

Love that…dose of GG happiness! Thanks always Lisa! It was you and a few others that gave me the heads up! Now to get it fixed. This was the best class on arranging flowers. Just basic composition and hints on how to keep the flowers fresh. All good! Thanks for checking in – directly! xoxo

The boys are so cute and at that age so sweet! I was blessed to have two of those myself!
Great to learn that not receiving your post is NOT my fault! Phew -I am such an idiot when it comes to technology.
Flower arrangements – love the lady behind all those wonderful colours who seems to be conducting the eager students. Interesting to tead the notes behind her on the board…
I go in the garden , cut, vase, toss ! Maybe there is space for improvement?
Have a great weekend!

Oh me and you both. Thank god I had an administrative assistant all those years in corporate. He kept me so out of trouble! Re…flower arranging…Yes, learned so much. I’d always come home with a bunch of flowers and just tossed them in a vase. As I’ve mentioned in other comments…just like photography, it’s all in the composition! Thanks for dropping in and hope you’ve had a good one too!

They were adorable and man…filled with energy! So many of the Peruvian children in the small towns would hang out in their parents’ store and I’m sure bored to death! Thanks always for being YOU!

I missed a few post due to other things to do, I know that sounds horrible, but sometimes a day has only 24 hours…. they should change that soon.
Absolute fabulous shots, those boys, the flowers :)… the Machu Picchu on top of the world… what an incredible journey that was.
Your life is filled with treasures and I think you never take that for granted.
Love and hugs.

my fantasy: to have a brilliant, techy personal assistant whose main job description is to support, support, support in the area of tech glitches and questions and general devilry. I’ll make my own chicken salad, even
clean my own house and mow my own lawn. But to have someone to figure out all of that…..just go do it, please. Oh. Sweet fantasy. Smooth sailing.
Peace to you in the solution-finding (and thanks for the grins….those boys:))

I love the photos of the boys. Such natural simple connections, and talking of connections, when I come across a technical problem, by and large, it becomes a fixture on the Blog because I have no idea how to fix them. I have you on my Blog roll, so I just click on that regularly and have a look at your amazing photographs and read the words of a presence I would not have met in any way without blogging who is clearly one of the “Good guys” in my little internet world
