Easter parade

Have you ever been to a parade and there wasn’t one? Perhaps a few of the local posts failed to mention that it was an Easter BONNET parade. No floats. No bands. Just a bunch of people standing along 5th Avenue waiting for a parade that never happens. Thank goodness we finally asked a local and after a few good laughs we learned there is no parade. If you want to dress up and parade through the streets then that’s the parade! We did see some very creative bonnets though!
