Today was my first full day in the Miksang training workshop here in NYC. With the emphasis on a fresh way of seeing…today’s training was all about COLOR.
(For my kindred spirits in the photography world…sharing with you an “abbreviated” color assignment…)
Off we go for a few hours to capture color with these instructions…
Let your mind stop when you see a flash of color.
Stop physically and spend time contemplating what stopped you.
Try to understand what you see. Ask yourself…Where does perception start and where does it end?
Look at your perception in your viewfinder and ask yourself – is this what stopped you?
Make camera adjustments and release the shutter.
This is one of several examples of what stopped me today in my quest for COLOR.
Fascinating!
More tomorrow!
