1987 and 31 years old and totally in love with New York City
If someone would’ve told me in 1987 that one day I’d live in this magnificent city…not quite sure I would’ve believed them. But here I am 25 years later, more in love with this city than ever…and the 1,000th post from a blog I started three years ago when this adventure started.
What began as a way to show my family and friends what the city had to offer has now developed into a full blown passion and my daily therapy. Thanks to everyone who has visited and especially for all of the wonderful comments!

possibility stands tall behind me
whispering promises
that always come true
because if nothing else,
we’re always changing
and i stand in the
star-shaped shadow
of everything you’ve
ever given me
trust and hope
filtering down through
to my roots
blushing pink
and smiling
at the sky
